OUR MISSION

Driven by our passion for the ocean and inspired by the incredible feedback we receive from our participants, we have spent years developing these courses based on our own professional journeys and more than a decade of experience in the field. Through our work as water photographers, videographers, surfers, athletes, we realized that successful surf photography depends on much more than camera knowledge alone. It requires a unique combination of technical photography skills, ocean awareness, water safety, physical preparation, mindset, positioning, and the confidence to operate in constantly changing conditions. Over the years, we have built a training system that develops all of these aspects together. Rather than focusing solely on photography, our courses are designed to help participants become more capable, confident and safe in the ocean, allowing them to access opportunities and create images that for most remain out of reach. Whether your goal is to improve your technical photography skills in the water, learn how to work safely in challenging conditions, or push beyond physical and mental barriers, our mission is to bring you closer to that goal.

Maria
Fernanda

"Born and raised in Mexico City, Maria Fernanda is one of the world's few female photographers regularly capturing big waves from the water."

Her work has earned international recognition, with images featured in magazines, newspapers, books, websites, and media outlets around the world. Drawing from more than a decade of experience in the ocean, Maria Fernanda combines technical photography skills, water safety knowledge, and a deep understanding of wave dynamics. Through her workshops, she is passionate about helping others develop their photographic eye, build confidence in the water, better understand the ocean, and create meaningful images that tell a story.

Sunny
Breger

Sunny is a filmmaker and commercial editor based between the Basque Country and Portugal, with a passion for the ocean and extreme sports. She has worked with professional athletes, including some of the world's leading big wave surfers, and spent two winter seasons (2022–2024) filming in Nazaré from a jet ski, documenting big wave surfing in one of the world's most demanding environments.

Growing up immersed in skateboarding and action sports, water cinematography became a natural progression. She taught herself to swim with a camera, combining her passion for the ocean, extreme sports and visual storytelling. With a background in commercial and documentary filmmaking, her work aims to create compelling stories that promote greater awareness of environmental and social issues.
